Kennebunk Savings Announces New Vice President of Administration

KENNEBUNK, MAINE - Kennebunk Savings is pleased to announce that Karyn Scharf Morin will take on a new position as Vice President, Branch Administrator. 

Morin has been with the Bank since 2001, and was most recently Retail Market Manager overseeing the Bank’s York Offices.  Morin will now be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Bank’s 15 branches and customer care center.  Her responsibilities will include sales management, customer service delivery, oversight of various branch audits, compliance, operational and human resource programs.  Prior to joining the Bank, she was associated with Fleet Bank of South Berwick, York and Salem, NH as Branch Manager and Sovereign Bank of Salem, NH as Vice President and Branch Manager. “We are looking forward to having Karyn head up our branches,” said Brenda Keene, Senior Vice President and Director of Retail Delivery & Administration. 

“In her new capacity she will be responsible for the safety and soundness of the branches and the day-to-day supervision of all branch employees providing support, guidance and training to staff.  With her extensive banking experience and excellent employee rapport I have no doubt that she will efficiently manage our fifteen offices.” 

Morin holds a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Wheaton College and was a Lordan scholar at the New England School of Banking at Williams College.  She currently serves as treasurer on the board of the Center of Wildlife. She is a member of the York Rotary Club and is a Berwick Academy Alumni Council Member. Morin lives in South Berwick.
